Burnt Toast Soup
Soup is one of the most comforting meals, especially on a chilly day. Have you ever tried Burnt Toast Soup? It might sound peculiar to some, but it is a very comforting meal. This recipe is easy to make and saves you from throwing away burnt toast. It is a great way to recycle it into a delicious soup.

Cooking time: 25 Minutes
Serves: 4 People
Ingredients
- 1 Pack Bacon Lardons
- 3 slices of Sourdough bread
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 250 ml Milk
- 250 ml Chicken Stock
- 1/2 Stick of Butter
- Splash of Red wine Vinegar
- Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- Fresh chopped Parsley
Method
- Toast 3 slices of Bread until they are blackening around the edges and a deep brown in the middle
- Meanwhile fry the Bacon until crispy and set half aside
- Add all the ingredients (except for half the Bacon and all the Parsley) to the Soup Maker
- Set the mode to “smooth” and start
- After 21 minutes, your soup should be ready and blended
- Serve in a bowl with Bread and a garnish of chopped Parsley
