Raspberry Honey Flapjacks

With World Bee Day approaching, why not whip up a deliciously easy flapjack recipe that pays homage to our buzzing friends! This raspberry honey flapjack recipe by BBC Good Food is a delightful treat. Simply gather your ingredients for flapjacks, which includes oats, butter, and the star of the show—honey. This honey flapjack not only brings a natural sweetness and chewy texture but also the natural sweetness of raspberries.

Serves: 9-12
Ingredients
- 150g butter
- 150g light brown soft sugar
- 4 tbsp honey (we used heather honey)
- 300g porridge oats
- 100g frozen raspberries
Method
Step 1: Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6 and line a 20 x 20cm baking tin with parchment paper.
Step 2: Next, melt the butter, sugar, honey and a pinch of salt in a pan. As soon as the mixture is bubbling and combined, stir in the oats.
Step 3: Tip the oat mixture into the lined baking tin and press down with the back of a spoon. Add the raspberries and lightly press them into the top of the oat mixture.
Step 4: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and once cooled, cut into 9 to 12 flapjack pieces.
