Ingredients:
- 100g chorizo
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp basil
- 3 chicken breasts
- 350g penne pasta (dried)
- 650ml hot chicken stock
- 250ml double cream
- 200g spinach
- Paramesan to serve (optional)
Method:
Step 1: Place the chicken, garlic, basil, and 150ml of chicken stock into the slow cooker. Stir, season to taste, and cook on high for 2 hours.
Step 2: Add the pasta and the rest of the stock, cooking for an additional 45 minutes, stirring after 30 minutes until perfectly done.
Step 3: Stir in the cream and spinach. The spinach will melt into the sauce in no time, making it rich and delicious. Sprinkle the pasta with freshly grated Parmesan for a burst of rich, creamy flavour.
