Ingredients:

  • 240g Strong wholemeal bread flour 
  • 200g Water 

Method: 

Day one: Mix 40g of flour and 40g of water in a large bowl and cover tightly. 

Day two: Mix 40g of flour and 40g of water with the existing starter and cover tightly. 

Day three: Mix 40g of flour and 20g of water with the existing starter and cover tightly. 

Day four: Mix 120g of flour and 100g of water with the existing starter and cover tightly. Your starter will be ready to use the next day.
