Bread Maker Pizza Base

Ingredients:

  • 240 ml water 
  • 1 tbsp melted butter 
  • 2 tbsp sugar  
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 396g strong white bread flour 
  • 1tsp fast action yeast  

 Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven.  
  2. Shape into a flat round shape. Place on a greased baking tray. Brush lightly with oil.  
  3. Cover for 15 minutes and allow to rise.  
  4. Add your desired topping.  
  5. Bake at approx 200oC (400°F, gas mark 6) until golden brown

    This recipe is terrible, have tried several times weighing out with care. It is really sloppy and remains raw when cooked for recommended time. Disappointed

    So, you put this in the bread maker before yeah?
    Which program do you use?
    I tried this from the instruction manual and it didn’t work, seemed to not have enough liquid… please help.
