Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 2 medium onions, roughly chopped
- 1 garlic cloves, crushed
- 500g mushrooms, finely chopped (chestnut or button mushrooms work well)
- 750ml chicken stock
- 4 tbsp single cream, plus more to serve
- small handful flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped, to serve
Method:
Step 1: Gather your ingredients - onions, garlic, mushrooms, and stock - and pour them into your soup maker. Don't forget to check the max fill line to avoid any mess!
Step 2: Now, just press the 'smooth soup' function and let the magic happen. Once the cycle is complete, it's time to add some seasoning and stir in the cream.
Step 3: Give it a quick blend to achieve that creamy texture, and voila! Your soup is ready to be served. Sprinkle some parsley on top and if you're feeling extra indulgent, add a dollop of cream. Grab a bowl and enjoy. Don't forget to share the recipe with your friends!

Made this soup many times taste absolutely delicious, first time making this colour turned me off but added more cream taste was great.
I used Red onions and added Lazy Chilli
Well first time for everything. Only ever made mushroom soup in a saucepan before and cannot remember what it looked like, when I saw the colour of the soup in maker I though yuk, grey/black liquid. However, put more cream in and it actually tastes good. Maybe it was the mushrooms I used.
